Camping at Selkirk Shores
I learned about this park from a photography group that I participate in, and promptly booked a camp spot. I really wanted to enjoy sunrise and sunset on Lake Ontario, the lake and sun didn’t disappoint. Sunrise/sunset is truly beautiful here. I brought a blanket down near the water and relaxed in the shade for hours while the sun got down to a good level for photos. As for the park, it’s absolutely beautiful, the facilities are great. The only downside was that the camp ground were REALLY crowded together and very noisy at night. It definitely wasn’t a wilderness camping experience, but it was a great way to get to be there to watch the sun.
